Zabbix Meeting Poland 2025 – event photo coverage from IT conference in West Gate Warsaw

Technology conferences have their own rhythm: a lot of specifics, a lot of knowledge and a lot of people who solve problems on a daily basis that most don’t even know exist. In the case of Zabbix Meeting Poland 2025 this energy was palpable from the entrance. I had the pleasure of preparing event photo coverage of the Warsaw edition – intense, substantive and well organized.

Zabbix business conference in West Gate Warsaw

The event was held at the conference center West Gate, which positively surprised me. The facility is located along the tracks, right next to Plac Zawiszy, but the interiors are very well soundproofed. Despite the proximity of the trains, there is full acoustic comfort inside. What’s more, this location is great logistically – attendees can conveniently commute from both Warszawa Centralna and Warszawa Zachodnia stations, and it literally takes minutes to get into the hall.

Light, projectors and photographic challenges

The West Gate halls have three large projectors set up on the right side and one main projector in the middle of the room, so presentations can be seen very well even from further down the rows. This is a big plus for business conference attendees. For the photographer, however, it means a bit more work – the projectors obscure natural light, and their strong light can create ghosting if you don’t keep an eye on shutter speed and white balance. These are things I work with regularly, though, so I knew exactly how to set the parameters to keep the color consistency and natural look of the shots. That’s what an event photographer’s job is all about.

Zabbix meeting series and my future plans

Zabbix is holding a series of business conferences and training sessions in various cities and countries. The Warsaw edition is just one of many. I would love to photograph more meetings in other cities as well – and maybe even outside Poland. One of my goals for the future is to work as an international event photographer who travels with a client’s team and creates consistent visual material on a global level. I’m already taking the first steps, but I’ll leave it as a little teaser for now. I’ve already seen quite a few places in Poland, but I love new challenges and meeting new people. For the rest, you can check it out on my blog, which I still don’t have time to complete, and new stories as I prepare photos for you. 🙂
