Marcin Krokowski
Event photographer from Warsaw
I have been photographing events professionally since 2012. I don’t treat them as an add-on to weddings, photo shoots and “a little bit of everything”.
After so many realizations, I know that at an event it is not enough to simply be with the camera. You need to know when something important is about to happen, where to position yourself before the moment, not after, and what you might need later after the event.
That’s why I work independently, analyze the agenda and keep an eye on things that are easy to overlook: people, relationships, branding, partners, the scale of the event and behind the scenes.
TRUSTED ME AMONG OTHERS

SEE MATERIAL
Photos that show not only the scene, but the entire context of the event

A common problem after events
Event ends
Material remains – or is missing
After an event, questions usually quickly arise: did we get good pictures of speakers, people, partners, stage, branding and atmosphere?
If this is missing, it is impossible to go back into the room and do it again.
Key people are missing
Speakers, special guests, management, partners – in other words, the people who should later appear in communications.
Sponsors disappear from coverage
Logos, booths, materials and visual displays of partners are in place, but later do not appear in the photos.
No material for social media
The photos are correct, but not necessarily suitable for publication and quick communication.
The material does not do the job
The gallery looks nice, but the marketing team still doesn’t have what it really needs.
WHAT YOU GET
Complete photo material for use after the event
After the event, other photos will be useful for LinkedIna, others for a press release, others for partners, and still others for a summary for the team. That’s why I photograph more broadly than just the scene and a few smiles for the camera.
People and relationships
Participants, networking, conversations, audience reactions.
Stage and Agenda
Speakers, panels, speeches, program moments.
Brand and partners
Branding, sponsors, booths, stage design and details.
Context of place
The hall, the space, the scale of the event and the atmosphere.
Do you already have a date?
Let’s talk about your event
Provide the date, location and approximate times. I will reply if I have a free date and what range of photography will make sense.
Portfolio
Check out what events I work with most often
It’s easy to show a few of the best photos. It’s harder to show the whole course of the event so that the documentary-style coverage still holds up.
That’s why you’ll find more extensive examples of projects in the portfolio: stage, people, networking, branding, partners, space and backstage.
This allows you to see my way of working on different types of events, not just single selected frames.

Conferences
Speeches, panels, audience, networking, space and details of the event. Documentary-style coverage showing not only the stage, but the entire course of the business conference.

Corporate events
Photos showing people, atmosphere, space and brand character. Good for social media, employer branding and internal communications.

Press meetings
Frames with speakers, product, media and brand context. Ready for press releases, website and trade publications.

Trade show
Reportage of booths, talks, visual displays, products, partners and activities around the brand. Useful for sales, marketing and post-event summaries.

Gale
Photos from the official parts of the event, the stage, award presentations, guests, details and atmosphere of the evening. Material that shows the stature of the event.

Culture and the Arts
Documentation of cultural events, exhibitions, premieres, author meetings and art projects. Photos that show the atmosphere of the place, people and situation.
NO CHAOS ON THE GROUND
What cooperation looks like
We determine what is important to you
Agenda, key people, partners, branding and moments you don’t want to miss.
You don’t have to lead me by the hand
I work independently on the spot, react to the course of the event and keep an eye on the most important situations.
You pick up an organized gallery
After selection and processing, you get photos online – to download, share and further work of the team.

A bigger event?
More than one stage? I will select a proven team
If the event is happening simultaneously in several locations, you don’t have to find several photographers on your own and clip their work.
I select a proven photo or photo-video team, set the scope and make sure the footage of the entire event is consistent.
“I would absolutely recommend Marcin as a photographer for large business conferences (over 1000 people) and smaller events. We use his services regularly. Tremendous professionalism, concrete and additionally a cool person.”

NOT JUST PRETTY FRAMES
Photos from the event should have a task
Marketing will look for social media content images. PR – context and key people. Partners – their presence in the relationship. Agency – photos of the stage design, details and finished space before the event kicks off.
Therefore, before the event, it is useful to determine who will use the photos and for what. Then I photograph with specific uses in mind, not just a nice gallery.
Frames with context: speakers, participants, scale of the event, reactions, key moments and brand elements.
A variety of material for posts, reports, carousels, announcements of the next edition and quick recaps after the event.
Visibility of logos, booths, materials, visual displays, activations and partner presence in the natural context of the event.
Photos showing the realization: the pre-launch space, set design, decorations, branding, room set-up, details, lighting and the finished setup before guests enter.
Photos showing attendance, atmosphere, partners, scale of the event and value of participation for future attendees, sponsors or exhibitors.
OPINIONS
Customers return when they know they can put the subject in good hands

“He is a real PRO! I had the pleasure of working with Marcin at an international conference of ours and was very satisfied with his work. He was punctual, polite, did not disrupt the event and took super professional photos. I would like to especially highlight his communication before, during and after the project. If I have the opportunity, I will definitely work with him again.”

Agata Goluchowska
IAB Poland – director of the marketingu

“Honestly, Marcin in creating his brand is an inspiration to us, because he is constantly trying to improve and streamline something. This proves that we are working with a person who shares the same goals and values as we do. To use a trendy term – the DNA of our businesses overlaps a lot. Can Marcin change anything? Preferably nothing, because he is developing all the time and from order to order he is getting better and better.”
