Corporate event photography

Press event photographer. Photos ready to send to the media

A press release without photos is a story the editor has to illustrate somehow. I photograph press events so the material goes out with the announcement: key people, the context of the event and frames nobody has to fix.

Why hire a photographer

Why photos decide what the media publish from your event

A press event is short. The material from it works for months. Whether an editor runs your photo or a stock one is decided on site.

Media coverage

Editors are more likely to publish a story that comes with usable photos. An announcement with ready material beats one that needs an illustration found for it.

Key people and context

The board at the microphone, the spokesperson mid-statement, special guests at the branded backdrop. These photos keep coming back: press page, bios, future announcements.

Proof for the team and partners

A full room, questions from journalists, conversations after the official part. Material that shows internally and to partners that the event had reach.

How I work

How I photograph press events

The material from a press event has to travel on, to the newsroom. I work so it is ready to send without corrections on your end.

Frames no editor has to rescue

Clean exposure, readable background, the statement caught at a moment when the speaker looks good. I deliver photos ready to publish, with horizontal and vertical versions of the key shots.

Backdrop and branding always readable

Logos on the media wall, venue signage, press materials on the tables. I make sure the brand is visible in the photos that travel.

I know who has to be in the pictures

Before the event you send me a short list of key people. On site I track it myself, you do not need to walk me around the room.

Discreet during statements

I stay out of the TV cameras’ frame and do not distract the room. One-on-one interviews after the official part I photograph from a distance, as they actually happen.

A man in a suit gives a presentation in a modern room with plants and a large screen showing slides. The room has wooden floors and modern furniture. The slide on screen appears to contain text and an image, giving the atmosphere of an engaging press event.
Five panelists sit on stage, including event photographer Marcin Krokowski, who speaks to the audience during a conference. A graphic is displayed on the large screen beside them, and attendees stand and ask questions. The setting is a modern conference room with a projector and speakers.

Coverage

What has to be in the material

Formats differ, the checklist does not: these four frames have to be in the package that goes out.

A presenter speaks to an audience in a modern showroom during a dealership opening, with three Porsche cars on display. A large screen above shows an image and details of the Porsche Cayenne while attendees listen closely.

Key people at the microphone

The frame an editor captions with a name and a title. It runs next to the quote in the story.

A banner with the Intel logo and Polish text promoting 12th generation Intel Core processors for desktop computers, surrounded by green plants.

Backdrop and branding

A photo can get picked up without the release around it. A readable logo says whose event this is.

A group of people seated in a room, listening closely to someone off camera. Most look focused; one person in a red jacket looks down. The professional setting suggests a showroom opening or a business seminar.

The room and the turnout

Filled seats and journalists at work. The frame that defends the event’s budget in the wrap-up.

A group of people talking in a relaxed setting. Two people in the foreground shake hands while others stand and talk in the background. The atmosphere feels informal and friendly, like an off-the-record moment at a press event.

Conversations after the official part

One-on-one interviews and corridor talk. If a conversation turns into a story, it will need a photo from that conversation.

Real events

See what a press event looks like in photos

Every press event has its own format, so I show real events that cover the range of scale I work with.

No chaos on site

How we work, step by step

Describe the event

Send the date, venue and approximate hours. Add what the event is about and which key people will be there.

Scope and priorities

We agree what has to be in the material: people, backdrop, the room, conversations after the official part. If photos need to reach the media the same day, we agree the number and the deadline before the event.

I photograph the event

I arrive early and photograph the room before the guests come in. During the event I work independently and discreetly, with the list of key people in mind.

Questions and answers

Frequently asked questions (FAQ)

Frequently asked questions

How many photos will I receive?

The minimum depends on hours booked. For 2 hours it is at least 150 photos after selection and editing, for 3 hours at least 200. I usually deliver more.

When will I get the photos?

The full set within 5 working days, counted from the day after the event.

Can I get selected photos the same day?

Yes, that is a common need at press events. We agree it before the event: how many photos, by what time and for what use. Then I can plan the work on site around it.

Are the photos ready to send to the media as they are?

Yes. I deliver the material after selection and editing, in full resolution plus web versions. No editor has to rescue anything.

How do you know who has to be in the pictures?

From the brief. A short list is enough: the board, the spokesperson, special guests. On site I track it myself.

Do you stay for the interviews after the official part?

Yes, if that is the scope we agree. That is often where the photos someone asks about later are made.

Do you travel outside Warsaw?

Yes. Travel costs are agreed at the quote stage.

Can the event also produce video footage?

Yes. I put together a proven photo-video team, agree the scope and keep the material consistent.

Can you brief me in English?

Yes. The whole arrangement, from first email to delivery, can run in English.

A photographer in a navy shirt stands and takes a photo in a vivid, colourful setting with abstract shapes on the wall. People sit in the background, some engaged in conversation. The word “cross-border” is visible on the wall.

Who I am

Since 2012 I have photographed conferences, trade shows and corporate events. Toyota, mBank, Danone, Volvo. At a press event I know the official part is half the material. The other half happens during the interviews, when most cameras are already packed.
