East of Culture Press Conference in Warsaw

I had the opportunity to attend the East of Culture press conference held in Warsaw. It was an extraordinary and emotional moment, during which we had the opportunity to meet the invited artists, as well as hear about this year’s festival.

During the conference, a group of seven people sit on a stage panel, five in chairs and two moderators. One of the highlights of the conference was a speech by Dr. Jaroslaw Sellin, Secretary of State at the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage. Dr. Sellin stressed the importance of supporting the culture of our neighbors, especially in the context of the ongoing war in Ukraine. Accordingly, during this year’s East of Culture, Ukraine will have a special place, and Polish artists will have the opportunity to present alongside artists from our eastern neighbor.
