Event photo coverage of the conference IAB Forum 2025 was one of the largest and most intense events I’ve had the opportunity to photograph. Dozens of talks and panels took place over two days, and the pace was really demanding – practically every minute a new speech started. Every year it brings together hundreds of experts, representatives of brands, agencies and media to discuss trends, technology and the future of the digital industry. In 2025, we met at Multikino Zlote Tarasy in Warsaw under the slogan “Integrated Future”. It was quite a challenge for me, not only logistically, but also photographically due to the difficult conditions in the cinema halls. Working at such a pace requires full concentration, quick reactions and attention to the consistency of the material.
The scale of the event
The IAB 2025 Forum lasted two intense days – from morning to late afternoon. This shows how extensive the business conference was. The IAB Forum 2025 was:
- More than 1,000 participants – marketers, managers and people responsible for communication in companies,
- approx. 100 speakers – from scientists and economists, to industry practitioners, to athletes and well-being experts,
- 4 conference rooms and 3 parallel thematic tracks – presentations, panels and workshops were held simultaneously,
- More than 80 lectures and speeches over two days,
- Afterparty – an opportunity for networking and less formal conversations.
Speech topics included artificial intelligence in marketing, ethics and brand responsibility, mental well-being in a digital world, the “single economy” trend, and the growing importance of retail media. Speakers on stage included Prof. Andrzej Dragan, Maja Włoszczowska, Dr. Daniel Knapp and Prof. Dominika Maison. I would have loved to listen to many of them, but I was focused on my work as a photographer – running between the halls, looking for frames and capturing the most interesting moments.
Our photographic work
This year I worked on event photo coverage together with Damian Bartoszek and Pawel Postlainiec. With such a large scale of the event, one photographer would not have been able to be on the main stage, in the smaller halls and in the networking area at the same time. Thanks to teamwork, we were able to cover the entire program and capture every important moment.
Quick photo sneak peek
My task – in addition to photographing – was to select and edit photos on the fly. Already in the middle of the day, during the break, I had prepared a snapshot of the photos from the opening and the first lectures. The organizers were able to immediately use these photographs in their communications on social media and in press coverage. This is a tremendous value for large business conferences, where a quick flow of content is important. I prepared the rest of the material in the following days – and there was really a lot of it.
Afterparty and atmosphere
I documented the evening afterparty together with Paul. These are less formal moments – conversations over a drink, smiles, shared photos of speakers and participants. Such frames perfectly complement the official part of the business conference.
Consistent material through teamwork
Although each of us had different tasks, the final material looks consistent. We worked on Sony cameras, and all the editing – both of the sneak peek and the complete gallery – was handled by me. As a result, the photos from different cameras and from different photographers form a unified whole, with the same color atmosphere and character.
It would be difficult to distinguish who among us took which photo – and that’s where the power of a well-coordinated team lies.
Why several photographers at large business conferences are a good thing
I described on my blog here in more detail why one photographer per event is often not enough, and the benefits of working with several people. In the case of the IAB Forum 2025, these advantages were particularly evident:
- Full coverage of all rooms and stages,
- The ability to deliver of materials virtually in real time,
- A consistent visual effect despite the work of several people,
- greater security – backup in the form of additional photographers.
Event photo coverage of the conference
In the gallery below you will find selected photographs from the first day of the business conference. These are the frames that best capture the scale of the Forum, the emotions of the speakers and the lively exchange of ideas among the participants. Working as a team of three photographers, we were able to capture both the big plans and the details that often escape the single eye.

Afterparty
When photographing the afterparty, I was keen to capture authentic emotions – laughter, spontaneous conversations and moments when the barriers between the stage and the audience completely disappeared. It is these shots that best show the relationships built during such large business conferences.

Podsumowanie

- szybkich zajawkach jeszcze w trakcie trwania eventu,
- albo na pracy kilku fotografów równocześnie –
odezwij się. Mogę przygotować taki zespół i dostarczyć zdjęcia, które już podczas wydarzenia będą pracowały na Twój wizerunek.
